BMW M57 TU1 Narrow Block to Mitsubishi Pajero/Shogun 2.8TD Adapter Plate CNC

Description

Custom adapter plate designed to connect the BMW M57 TU1 engine with the narrow bellhousing (pre-lift) to the  Mitsubishi Pajero / Shogun 2.8TD  manual gearbox.

The adapter plate is designed using CAD/CAM software and manufactured using precision CNC machining from high-grade 12 mm thick steel.

It ensures accurate engine-to-gearbox alignment and correct positioning of the crankshaft in relation to the clutch and gearbox input shaft.

This solution allows the use of the original Pajero / Shogun 2.8TD gearbox with the BMW M57 TU1 engine, without the need to modify the gearbox housing.

Not sure whether your engine is the “pre-lift” or “lift” version?
No problem. The last photo shows the key reference points that make it easy to identify the correct version. Simply measure the distance between the indicated locating dowels and compare it with the measurement shown in the photo. This allows you to quickly and accurately select the correct adapter plate for your engine.
